A detailed description:
Keithley‘s SourceMeter (digital source meter) series is specially designed for those test applications that require tight integration of excitation source and measurement functions, precision voltage sources, and simultaneous current and voltage measurements. All source meters are composed of a precise, low-noise, highly stable DC power supply with readback function and a 5 1/2-digit multi-function meter with low noise, high repeatability and high input impedance, forming a compact single Channel DC parameter tester. Its function is equivalent to a combination of voltage source, current source, voltmeter, ammeter and resistance meter. Manufacturers of components and modules in the communications, semiconductor, computer, automotive, and medical industries will find that source-meter instruments are of great practical value for various feature analysis and production process testing. The 2410 high-voltage source meter has a power of 20W and can provide and measure voltages from ±5μV (source) and ±1μV (measurement) to ±1100V, and currents from ±10pA to ±1A. Due to its high voltage source range, the 2410 is very suitable for resistance and voltage coefficient testing, varistor, high voltage diode, switch, Zener, RF diode and rectifier testing. The 2410 can measure a current of 20mA while providing a voltage of 1100V, which has the special resolution required to accurately test these devices.
