Describe:
The best-selling Keysight N7745A optical power meter has 8 power probe channels to provide higher throughput and work efficiency to meet today‘s manufacturing challenges. These optical power meters are specifically designed to characterize multi-port optical devices and provide industry-leading solutions for device connectivity, high-speed measurement data acquisition, and fast data transmission for post-processing. The multi-port power meter provides fast speed for all multi-port devices (such as multiplexers, PON splitters, wavelength selective switches (WSS) and ROADM, as well as a compact test set for testing multiple single-port devices at the same time) Measurement solutions.
The N7745A power meter can save channel space, which is the first in the industry. Through parallel programming of LAN or USB connections, multiple devices can be integrated into a single setup, a feature that has been further improved.
This multi-port power meter is developed using LXI technology and conforms to the LXI Class C standard. LXI is the abbreviation of LAN eXtension for Instrumentation, which establishes an instrument standard for devices that use Ethernet (LAN) as the main communication interface. Therefore, it is an easy-to-connect instrument with an integrated web browser that provides convenient instrument function configuration.
The new power meter uses the unprecedented N7740 optical fiber connectivity concept, which is a four-core cable adapter with a flexible snap-in quick locking mechanism. Even if the instrument is measuring other equipment, the device under test can be easily connected to the four-core cable adapter. The four-core cable adapter can then be quickly locked, providing a high-precision connection that can be repeatedly connected and disconnected. With the help of a four-core cable adapter, you can align the connector keys more easily, especially for rack-mounted instruments, and more easily connect the ports in the desired sequence to avoid connection errors or damage to the connector.
